war (25)

Weekly Prayer - May 6, 2020

Yemen is one of the poorest countries in the Middle East and has faced decades of instability. Civil war has gripped the country and left the people in desperate need of humanitarian aid. More than 9,000 Yemenis have been killed, over 50,000 injured and 3 million people have fled their homes. Millions of people face shortages of food and water, and less than half the country's health facilities are operational. Approximately 16.4 million people currently have no access to healthcare.

Cities are continuing to be bombed and the infrastructure is collapsing. There is severe famine in parts of the country. Its few oil fields are not producing. Cholera is epidemic, the currency is collapsing, prices are soaring, and many in the public sector haven't been paid in over a year. There is also fear that school age boys will be recruited to fight for the Houthis who control large areas of the country. The humanitarian crisis in Yemen is severe as many are starving or on the verge of having nothing to eat. Malnutrition and infant mortality is becoming normal.

Prayer Request
Pray that the UN and the Saudi-led coalition will work together to reopen ports and resume the delivery of food, medicine and humanitarian aid

Pray that God will protect the Yemeni people, bring an end to the conflict, and establish His peace in their land

Pray that Christian brothers and sisters in Yemen will stay firm and make strong ties with other believers to bring many to Christ

(praying with Window International Network)

PTAP: COVID Ceasefire in Yemen

Weekly Prayer - April 2, 2020

On Monday 30 March, all fighting groups in Yemen agreed to a nationwide ceasefire due to the coronavirus outbreak. However, the Saudi-led coalition fighting the Houthi group in Yemen carried out several air strikes on Monday on the capital Sanaa, in retaliation for two ballistic missiles fired at Riyadh on Saturday, which were intercepted. More than five years of conflict have devastated the lives of tens of millions of Yemenis - with an estimated 100,000 people killed, including 12,000 civilians; and as many as 85,000 deaths from war-induced famine. According to the WHO, a coronavirus outbreak would break the country's collapsing healthcare infrastructure - an already catastrophic humanitarian disaster will get worse. Millions of Yemenis, especially children, are seriously malnourished and very vulnerable.

As more and more people come under lockdown with governments trying to curtail the spread of coronavirus, many have become entirely consumed by their, and their family's needs, and very little thought, let alone action, is given to other peoples' suffering elsewhere in the world. Many have expressed tremendous sympathy and solidarity with countries such as Italy and Spain, which has been heavily impacted by the virus. However, few give a nation like Yemen a second thought. The Church in Yemen is small. It cannot fight this battle alone. It needs the larger Body of Christ--now more than ever.

Pray for the following:
  • For the coronavirus crisis to be a catalyst towards a lasting ceasefire
  • For the international body of Christ to find effective ways to help all Yemenis
  • For the Church in Yemen to be encouraged by the actions and prayers of their brothers and sisters around the world

PTAP: Pray for Yemen.

Prayer Requests - November 19, 2019

Below is an overview of the situation in Yemen. This is not a Christian report. But it is a good overview of the problems in Yemen. This video is 7 mins. Please take time today to pray for Yemen.

Prayer Points:
1. Pray for an end to the war in Yemen. There have been small steps in the south to end fighting there, but that is only a small part of the overall picture.

2. Pray for 24 million people of the total population of 27 million who need food aid and other aid. There is great suffering and this suffering is all man-made.

3. Pray for families that have lost so much--homes, livelihoods, family members, loved ones...Some reports have stated that over 100,000 people have died in Yemen.

4. Pray for the gospel to spread in Yemen. Despite all the suffering and pain, more Yemeni are walking with the Lord Jesus today than since Islam took control of this country. Pray that more people will come to know Jesus and find hope in Him.
on Facebook, you may visit Pray4Yemen for more information on the land.

As many of you know from the news, a lot is happening in the AP these days.  Tensions between the US and Iran are rising due to oil tankers being attacked in the Gulf of Oman.  Drones are being shot down.  The US will be sending 1500 more troops to the Middle East.  Air travel is being diverted away from the Strait of Hormuz.

The Houthis in Yemen are firing missiles into Saudi Arabia, particularly Abha airport in the southern part of Saudi close to Yemen.  The Houthis have fired missiles into the capital city of Riyadh as well.

The UK has ruled that British arm sales to Saudi Arabia are unlawful.   The World Food Programme has been forced to suspend food deliveries to Sana'a, Yemen due to Houthi interference in aid delivery.

The economy of the UAE is struggling as evidenced by white collar, expat workers not being hired in similar numbers as before, and much money being spent on UAE military involvement in Yemen and in other countries.  The broken ties between Qatar and Saudi Arabia/Bahrain/Egypt/UAE continue with no solution in sight.

It looks like God is shaking up the region.

Let's pray Hebrews 12:28, giving thanks to God for giving us a kingdom that CANNOT BE SHAKEN!  Pray that AP Arabs would receive this unshakable kingdom and offer to God acceptable worship with reverence and awe for our God is a consuming fire.  Praise God for all the local believers in the AP.  The numbers are small and the growth is slow, but it continues and the worship of Jesus will not be thwarted by wars or rumors of war or anything else in all creation!

Also, here is an interesting report from the BBC about the ancient city of Marib in Yemen.  The Yemenis believe that Marib was the center of the Queen of Sheba's kingdom.  Both Yemenis and Ethiopians claim the Queen of Sheba as their own.

https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-middle-east-47659340/yemen-s-ancient-city-where-people-escape-civil-war

Here is a small oasis in the midst of a country shaken up by war, but this is only temporary unless the war ends.  Let's continue to pray for the end of this war, confident that God promises to build his UNSHAKABLE church in Yemen and the rest of the AP no matter what happens for we know that he can do all things and that no purpose of his can be thwarted (Job 42:2).  Amen!

WAGING SPIRITUAL WAR

I have recently been made more aware of serious problems in our nation, and of spiritual attack in the lives of people that I love. These things are frustrating. And one of the most frustrating factors in my seeing these things is that I cannot see anything I can do to have any appreciable effect. But while I cannot help in the physical realm, I know I can have great effect in the spiritual realm where the real battle will be fought. Paul wrote about this in 2 Corinthians 10. Verse 3 says as much.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh.”

I am not exactly sure how to apply this truth. Paul is warning people who have not repented of sins against the church that he is coming with spiritual authority. But how he applies this seems to fit a much larger set of circumstances, including those that I am dealing with right now. Look at the following verses. Verse 4 reads,

“For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.”

Paul says the weapons of spiritual warfare are not fleshly efforts. They do not come by screaming at people, although God can speak thunderously.  On a broader scale, they are not political, although they can affect governments. When Paul says they demolish strongholds, he is talking about the strongholds of demonic forces in the world and in the lives of people, sometimes even believers. This certainly describes things I have seen in the lives of people who cannot seem to let go of attitudes that are destroying them and others. It also applies to some who are being attacked by jealousy, intrigue, and infighting among colleagues. And I can see this in the culture of my own country, and around the world.

We see something of how this works in verse 5.

“We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.”

How do we confound ungodly arguments? Let me point out three crucial factors. The first is love. God's love for people will often overcome opposition. When we speak of spirituality, we have to include all the fruit of the the Spirit listed in Galatians 5. But possibly the most powerful of them is agape, the infinite, ultimate love of God in our lives. Next is spiritual knowledge. This must begin with the gospel by which lives are transformed. Sometimes this means simply speaking the truth even when it is opposed. When he was tempted by Satan in the wilderness, Jesus just quoted Scripture. He did not convince Satan, but Jesus was not swayed by the temptation.

Finally, and many ways most important is prayer. In Ephesians 6:10-17 Paul gives us what are mostly defensive weapons. But in verse 18 he concludes with the power of prayer.

“Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.”

We break the power of the enemy by prayer. We extend the Kingdom of God by praying. And we can trust the power of God as we become more and more intimate with Him. You may not see revival as you pray. But you can know God is at work. And you never see revival without extraordinary prayer. You may not avoid evil in this world. Abraham interceded for Sodom. But it was still destroyed. Jesus could have avoided the cross. But I am so thankful that He did not. You will not be able to to keep the Antichrist from rising in the last days. But you will be able to endure all that comes upon the Earth. And you can build a shelter of prayer around those you pray for. And again and again you will turn the hearts of those for whom you pray back to the God of the Bible.

PTAP: New Believer & Yemen

About a year ago, after trying other religions and philosophies, Anthony (pseudonym)
found that there was none other like the message of the gospel, and he
trusted Christ for his salvation. Although he knows there is the need for cautious wisdom in a Muslim context, he feels that he must share the truth of the gospel with others. In fact, Anthony is in college and has done so with many of his classmates.  Pray that he will continue to grow in faith, love, and hope in the Kingdom.

Prayer for Yemen

Psalm 88: 1-4 O  Lord, God of my salvation. I cry out day and night before you. Let my prayer come before you;  incline your ear to my cry. For my soul is full of troubles, and my life draw nears to Sheol. I am counted among those who go down to the pit; I am a man who has no strength. (ESV)

The people of Yemen continue to suffer from the effects of war. It is in times of suffering that many realize their own helplessness and acknowledge their need for God. Pray that the people will turn to Him. Pray that He will lead them to someone who follows the Savior or that He will speaks words of comfort and hope to them, through visions and dreams. Continue to pray for peace in Yemen.

Yemen has felt the burden of injustice for the past three years with war, famine and epidemics which have ravaged the country. Please pray Psalm 12:5 over the people of Yemen: "Because of the devastation of the afflicted, because of the groaning of the needy, now I will arise," says the Lord; "I will set him in the safety for which he longs." (NASB).

Young men are forced to join militias in Yemen due to threats and needing the money given them, to feed their families. Displaced people flee from their bombed out homes. Pray for the people who are burdened by fear. Pray that they will hear about the Savior who can give them peace and even joy, in the midst of fearful times.

In fact, the sin of hatred is strong in a land where tribes are fighting one another. Please pray that hatred will be replaced with forgiveness and love. This can only be done through Christ. Pray for the people, Ephesians 4: 31-31: "Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ, God forgave you."

Furthermore, humanitarian tragedies have permeated. Each statistic represents a person who has suffered grief, heartache and hopelessness. Please pray that everyone will hear about a loving Savior who will take away pain and will comfort those who mourn. Pray that the physical needs of the people will also be met, that food and supplies will be allowed into the country and will be given to those who need them.

PTAP: February Focus: Yemen

With the evil and hardships in Yemen, workers from Yemen have worked to help create a prayer guide for the country. Leaders in the AP have initiated a focus on prayer for Yemen during the month of February. We trust that many of you will pray and call others to prayer for Yemen during February.
CLICK HERE for a 4 week prayer guide.
Please feel free to edit it, translate it, and send it on to others. PTAP has put this together and give people permission to reuse this information in their own formats.
On the PTAP website, you can also find a word.doc version of this and also a powerful PowerPoint about what is going on in Yemen.
We are seeking the peace of the Lord to come to Yemen! Please pray with us and call others to prayer.

Pray for the Lord to open new doors for new projects.  Pray that the Lord would provide funds for a media project to produce between 50-75 short (5-10 minutes) videos in the local dialect to reach the Saudi people via a variety of social media platforms, as they are some of the world's most active users of social media.  Pray that this project would become a reality so that many will come to faith and be discipled at the same time.

Pray for believers in Christ who are facing opposition, that they will be strong. Pray that God will give them courage, wisdom and strength in the challenges that they go through.

Pray for the many in Yemen who are facing starvation due to war. Pray that embargoes will be lifted, that food will be sent and that it would reach those in need.

City Focus
PTAP is partnering with other believers in praying for key, strategic cities throughout the AP.  This month, we focus on Dibba, UAE.  In particular, please pray that the Lord of the Harvest would send workers to Dibba, UAE.  These cities have no or very little Christian witness.  In addition, please pray that the Lord would raise up Indian and Filipino believers who already live in Dibba to share the gospel message with their Emirati neighbors.

Let's pray for Dibba through this prayer video!

Prayer for Healing & Hope

A lady from a VIP family has had many spiritual conversations with Christian women over time. She has read the Bible and gained information about the faith through various Christian materials but has made no known profession of faith. Please pray for the Lord to confirm the truth to her heart, and that the whole VIP household will be saved to shine the light on their brethren.

A woman in the village was divorced by her husband for not bearing him any children after 7 years of marriage. Even women who had been her friends all those years in her village turned critical of her, perhaps because of the common assumption that infertility is a sign of God's disfavor. Please pray for this woman's future as her options for a means of support the rest of her life are very limited without a husband or children. Also ask the Lord to pour out his Spirit on her, her children, her family, and her village.
Praying for Yemen
Yet another peace agreement has fallen apart in Yemen. Please pray for the people of this country who are suffering from a terrible war. Pray that they will hear of a Savior who loves them and can give them peace in their hearts even when there is chaos around them.

The heat of the summer months is hard on those who live along the coast of Yemen, even in normal times. With power outages, shortages of drinkable water and the effects of war, the heat can be devastating. Pray for those who live along the Arabian and Red Seas and the Gulf of Aden. Pray that they have shelter from the sun and water to drink. Pray that are receiving the aid they need. Pray that peace will come to their land.

"When heaven is shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against you, if they pray toward this place and acknowledge your name and turn from their sin, when you afflict them, then hear in heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk, and grant rain upon your land, which you have given to your people as an inheritance.

If there is famine in the land, if there is pestilence or blight or mildew or locust or caterpillar, if their enemies besiege them in the land at their gates, whatever plague, whatever sickness there is, whatever prayer, whatever plea is made by any man or by all your people Israel, each knowing his own affliction and his own sorrow and stretching out his hands toward this house, then hear from heaven your dwelling place and forgive and render to each whose heart you know, according to all his ways, for you, you only, know the hearts of the children of mankind, ..."

The school year has begun this week in most countries in the Arabian Peninsula. Pray for the many Christian workers who serve as teachers. Pray that they may be able to teach and love the students, families, and colleagues as Jesus did. May their presence be a light.

As the school year begins, pray for the children of Yemen who have had many school interruptions due to the fighting in their country. Some of their schools have been destroyed or were used to house displaced people. Pray that the children will be able to go to school. Pray for their protection and ask that the war in their country will end.

A group of Christians gathered to eat in a food court were discussing the difference between two Arabic words for "chicken." Wanting to resolve the matter, Sister T stepped over to a nearby table where a local woman was sitting alone. "Excuse me, may I ask you a question?" "Please go ahead," the young lady replied. "Is there a difference in the meaning between dujaaj and farooj?" After answering Sister T's question, the local woman said, "May I also ask you a question?" The Christian welcomed her to do so. "How can Jesus be God?" The two had a wonderful discussion about how Jesus is God and other spiritual things as well, and the two women exchanged numbers. Sadly, the young woman's phone was taken by a male relative and is suspected that she has had some negative repercussions at home given that the contact was completely cut off. Please pray for this dear young Muslim seeker.

Ahmed invited his former professor Doug to see the new version of Ben Hur, which had come to the theaters of this country.  However, all aspects of Jesus were censored out! Fortunately, Doug had a DVD copy of the 1959 version which he loaned to Ahmed.  Pray that the contrast will draw attention to Christ's work and Ahmed to Christ.

A Muslim woman who has regular contact with members of the Royal family and other VIPs became a follower of Christ through watching the Jesus film. She came up with a clever way to share the Gospel with them, without incriminating herself in the process. Please pray for the seed sown to take root, grow & produce a harvest. Pray also for her to walk in sound doctrine and an impeccable testimony in public & private.

An elderly bedou woman sought medical help and spiritual deliverance for her granddaughter who was dying. Neither attempts were successful in the end, and the girl passed away. However, the bedou woman had been touched by the kindness of the only Christian family in her village during the year-long ordeal of suffering. The wife had visited often, bringing gifts to cheer the bed-ridden granddaughter--even calling to find out what she would like to have that day. The Christian husband had paid for some very costly prescription pain reliever to ease her suffering when the men of the bedou family refused to "waste money on one who was going to die anyway." She was so moved by their  kindness that she asked the Christian couple for a copy of the Bible. Since she couldn't read, they gave her a dramatized Bible on tape. The bedou lady became a believer and has since discovered others in her tribe who also know the LORD! Please pray for their solid growth, protection, maturity, and the spread of the Gospel throughout their families.

"Abia" has been reading the Word and now believes that Jesus is indeed the Son of God who died on the cross and rose from the dead. But she is experiencing an inner battle as she tries to reconcile these truths with her lifelong beliefs. Pray that she will be given understanding and clarity so that she will uncompromisingly embrace the One who loves her and can give her eternal life.
A man who is very active in his local mosque is curious about the teachings of Jesus. Pray that as he meets with a believer to ask questions, he will come to know Jesus.
Many in the Arabian Peninsula have a desire to learn or improve their English skills. Pray that this desire will result in relationships with English speaking believers who will point them to Jesus Christ.
God created his people to live in community. There are many believers who have no one to worship with. They have either been rejected by their family and friends or they are too fearful to tell others about the faith they have embraced. Pray that they will find encouragement in reading the Word. Pray that their family and friends will accept the Savior and for a faith community to develop around these lone believers.
Praise God that despite the war in Yemen, the good news continues to spread, as people who have left the country stay in contact with friends they have left behind. Pray for Islamic extremists to be exposed to and changed by the truth of the gospel.
Pray that the few Qataris who call Jesus Lord would share the good news with those to whom God has shown the emptiness of wealth.
Praise God that His Church in Saudi Arabia is growing. Pray that they will be able to meet freely and safely.

Praise God that the World Food Program was able to get food into some of the towns where people are starving. Continue to pray for those in the AP who live in a war torn country. Ask that all will have enough food to eat and that avenues for food distribution will remain open.

Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter-- when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? (Isaiah 58:6-7)

Praise God for organizations like the World Food Program who are doing all they can to fulfill Isaiah 58:6-7 in the war torn areas of the world. Pray for favor over their efforts.

Prayers for Wisdom
Abu H, his wife, and children have lived with Christ for a number of years already. There are no known believers around them. Abu H struggles as to how to raise his children. Young as they are he does not want them to reveal to friends, teachers, or cousins that they believe in Christ. Such knowledge coming into the hands of the wrong person would probably lead to severe persecution; perhaps even death. Should we therefore not speak of Christ to them?

Abu H is considering to immigrate. But this is not an easy option, first to be accepted as a refugee of religious persecution, but then also to consider what kind of effect immigration has on the image of Christ among their friends and family. They could think that the Christian message has been the cause for them losing their family members, resulting in even more anger towards Christ.

Will you pray that this family will be able to fix their eyes on Jesus rather than the waves, pressures, and fears of the world?
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. (Psalm 32:8)

Pray that God's great wisdom and council will fall on the hearts of this family allowing them to discern where God is leading them and how He would want to use them.

Pray with the Christians in Saudi Arabia as they strive to be the presence of Jesus in this land. In the midst of war to the north and south of Saudi Arabia, with growing economic pressure and rumors of political instability in the royal family, the Saudi people are facing an uncertain future.   Pray God directs the royal family and governing officials to make wise decisions in line with God's will for the country.
As the region experiences instability, may this be a time for the people of Saudi to start questioning their foundation and beliefs. Pray the Lord puts new questions into their hearts, to seek Jesus.
Pray for emerging Saudi believers, that they may be encouraged and strengthened in the Lord. Pray against the fear and distrust that keeps many of them isolated. Pray for believers to have the courage to meet together.  Pray for whole households, families and friendship groups to come to the Lord, so that local fellowships will be formed. Praise the Lord; He will build His church.
Pray for revival amongst the many expat Christians working here, and a heart of love towards the Saudi people that moves them to pray and reach out as the Lord directs.  The severity of the economic situation resulting from low oil prices is beginning to effect companies causing them to slash budgets, reduce manpower and slow or stop new hiring. Pray for God to protect the jobs of intentional Christian workers.

The Power of the Gospel  -  Weekly Update May 4, 2016

As the summer months come, pray for those who are living in the low lands and along the sea in a country where there have been frequent power outages as well as lack of supplies. Pray that their basic needs will be met even in the heat of the summer. Pray that fighting will stop in their country and that rebuilding will begin.

"Will you help me go to America?", asked a young Yemeni man who left his country to work in another. He sees no future, as he waits tables in a restaurant. He now lives in a country where there are many believers in Christ. Pray that he will hear the Truth and experience the Hope which Christ offers.

Please pray for believers who are currently working on military bases in this one Arabian Peninsula country.  What an opportunity to shine the light of Christ among the most powerful people in these restricted places.  Pray for divine appointments and opportunities to share the Good News with those who are ready to receive it.  Pray that the various forms of the Good News that have already been spoken would take root and bear fruit in God's good timing!

Pray against the fear of man since the military can be intimidating.  Pray that the fear of God would rule in the believers' hearts and that they would be protected by the full armor of God.

Pray for the believers around the Arabian Peninsula who are struggling with how to share their faith in places where they could face much opposition for doing so. Pray that God will give them wisdom in conversations and boldness at the right moments.

Pray against a spirit of fear or timidity. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile."    - Romans 1:16

PTAP: Fragrance of Christ

PRAYER
Sadly, two local believers from a Muslim back ground went to court against one another in our country over a money issue.  It should not have been. Now that the issue is decided, please pray that their hearts will be softened, and humility and forgiveness will be born again between them.

A second cyclone hit the Island of Socotra a few weeks ago, causing even more destruction and death. Pray for the people as they rebuild their homes and their lives. Pray that food and supplies will be flown into the island to help them. Pray that tragedy will stop.

"Even in the midst of fear, God gave me peace," said a Believer from a war torn country. Praise God that He continues to help those who love Him, even when the world around them is crumbling. Pray that many more will come to know Him

TESTIMONY
Why do some non-believers wish to keep hanging around believers?  Is there something of the Spirit of God that woos them?  Please pray for Abdulmohsen, who has heard much of the gospel, and expressed fear of being identified with  believers, yet still calls on those who would speak of Christ to him.

PTAP: Bearing Fruit

Prayer

Pray for the Muslims who are fasting now. Especially in the last week of Ramadan they believe there is a special night of Power when the heaven is open and all your prayers will be answered.  Since they are not exactly sure when that night is, many will spend whole nights in the mosque or at home reciting the Quran or praying. They give great value to dreams.  Pray that God will reveal himself in dreams or visions to them.

As Christ followers, we are commanded to support the widows and orphans or give cold water to those who thirst.  Pray for those who want to deliver aid to the needy in a land where the suffering is great and shelter to the refugees who have fled for their lives. Ask that resources will be collected. Pray that a way to send aid will be found.

A young man of 19 told his new friends that because of the fighting in his country, he was not able to finish high school. He is now 19 years old and wonders about his future. There are thousands of young people who are facing the same issues. Pray that they will be able to, one day, finish school and continue to prepare for adulthood. Pray that they will hear about a Savior who cares for them and loves them.

Testimony
"Saoud" has spoken on several occasions with his Christian professor, "Frank", about his Shiite beliefs.  At the same time, "Saoud" has been very open to hear about the love and redemption found in Christ.  He now wants to continue some independent academic studies with "Frank" next fall.  Pray that their relationship will bear fruit in the knowledge of Christ and Saoud's salvation.

PTAP: Politely Hearing

PRAYER

Pray for the people who are living in cities where there is much hardship right now. They hear bombs dropping and face great danger. They have had no electricity and supplies are running low. They are filled with fear. Ask for God to give them comfort and speak to them in visions and dreams, for He never stops loving them. Pray that a peaceful solution for their country will be found.

An isolated, local believer has, for years now, lived under great pressure and scrutiny from her family and has never had the freedom to fellowship with others. Please pray that she will remain strong in her faith and find all her needs met by His presence.

This is the rainy season in a southern AP country. This country is also facing some water shortages in some cities due to fighting. Ask that the rains will be plentiful this year and that people will have the water they need.

Pray that relief efforts to help those in a country torn with strife, will be successful. Pray that humanitarian aid will get to the people who need it and that in the process, the people will know that others around the world are concerned for them and are praying for them.

TESTIMONY
"Muna" listened politely as "Carl" illustrated the meaning of Jesus' death for us guilty sinners.  "That's beautiful!" Muna responded.  But Carl was aware that it was only a tender story for Muna, not registering as her personal need.  So many hear only politely.  Pray for the convicting Spirit of God to impress upon each listener their personal need of repentance.
