Town wide Prayer Rally

Be in prayer for a prayer rally I am putting on .

It is friday the 22 from 5:30 pm till 6:pm.

This little town is really just a community that incoperated back in he late 70's to sell alcohol,and thus some could get rich.

Well they found out that it took a lot of money to run a beer store and soon the locals closed up shop only to let the bigger chains come in and the 'money went out of town'.

Give me feed back please on this idea for outreach?

I had an idea for outreach . Assemble volunteers who would be willing to give up a Sunday morning once a month ( could make their church service if they have one @ 10 or 11 am) and let the area buisiness (ex) resturants , stores ,factories,etc who are working and can not go to church have a group of two to three people come by and share a quick 1 or 2-3 minute devotion and share a prayer with the workers (to bring the church out side the 4 walls to where they are  and show them that they are…

sweet potato pie

Sweet Potato Pie 8 Servings 1/2 cup softened butter1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar1 cup Mashed, cooked sweet potatoes3 lightly beaten eggs1/3 cup corn syrup1/3 cup milk1/2 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon vanilla extract1 pie shell, Unbaked Cream butter and brown sugar in bowl until light and fluffy. Blend in sweet potato and eggs. Add next 4 ingredients; mix well. Pour into pie shell. Bake in a 425-degree oven for 10 minutes. on the street

Set up a "Prayer Stand' saturday (like you see some one selling fruit) have been setting stand up since august 7 every saturday and have had around 40 folks stop and ask for prayer. this past saturday a young woman named Lilly  came to the stand you could smell the beer long before she got close to you,she was drunk,and her words were very slurred. She said that she needed help she needed God to help her she was tired of being  an alcoholic she had been in a really bad accident a few years ago…

Well lets do it !

There is a little community about 15 miles from me that only has 145 residents In the late 70's a few folks there got together and incorperated  and a town was born,strictly  so they could vote to sell beer / wine /alcohol . mexican hot chocalate recipe

I think God we can go out and plant in the garden and then watch it grow aint God good? I love taters (texas way of saying potato)  mashed,boiled,french fried you name it its just one of them all around great veggies we can enjoy   So who has a great tater recipe ??? share with us and lets give God glory for the aboundance of this earth and lets pray for those who go to bed each night hungry!
