This Scripture Drives/Directs My #Reimagine Journey
Stop imitating the ideals [and being confined to the traditions of your Church] culture
but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think.
This will empower you to discern God’s will as you [pray and] live a beautiful life,
satisfying and perfect in his eyes. Romans 12:2 The Passion Translation and [my paraphrasing]

The current dizzied and dis-eased state of our “union” has forced me to pursue a “Civics 101” refresher course. And am I glad I did.…
Read more…FIVE POSSIBLE PATHS FOR 21ST CENTURY CHURCHES BY MARTIN THIELEN June 3, 2025 It’s no secret that organized religion is in trouble. Over the past few decades the American church has seen a free fall in membership, attendance, and reputation. Current data suggests the steep decline has stabilized for now. But the long-term trajectory doesn’t look particularly promising. Given these sobering realities, almost everyone involved in the life of the American church is asking,…

Jim Morgan Over the last 25 years, nearly 40 million Americans have stopped attending church – the most significant decline in any quarter century in our nation’s history. Any church growth seen today occurs primarily among churches with over 250 on Sundays, but the median congregation size today is only 65. Since the early 1990s, the percentage of U.S. adults identifying as Christians has dropped 25%. Shuffling the deck (a shift toward churches offering more…

We shouldn’t feel good about some of our “good” deeds. Poverty alleviation is tricky. There are no shortcuts. And, it is, whether it applies to demolishing a building or taking apart a system of belief “in order to expose biases, flaws or inconsistencies,” which is precisely what is taking place all across the evangelical spectrum. Sadly, many church members who have become disillusioned with their evangelical church experience or disappointed by an evangelical leader are simply…

How God Shaped the Early Ekklēsia
Years ago, I visited a church in South Asia. It quickly became evident that the rectangular building where we met—complete with a cross above the entrance, rows of red plastic chairs facing a handcrafted wooden pulpit, a drum set, loudspeakers, microphones and stands, as well as a soundboard—bore a striking…

Thanks for welcoming me to the Forum. I had thought I was already a member through the Prayer Leaders Network, but the sign in process wouldn’t allow me to sign in using my passwords from that site, so I created another account.
I had wanted to commend the article that I received from y’all by email about dealing with 4 realities that make it difficult for Intercessors/prayer ministry leaders and pastors/church leadership to build a praying culture in the church. I thought it was very insightful and a helpful perspective. Thank you for the article.
Hi Phil.
As a new member, I received 2 emails from you.
The first, informing me that my membership had been approved, contained 4 links all containing significant errors. None of the links worked, but I was able to deduce what the errors were so correct them for access. Not a good start! You should examine the links in the email that was sent two me to ensure this doesn't happen to other new members.
Links in the second email regarding my profile appear to be OK.
Steve
Thank you!
Thanks, Bro!!!
