Palestine offering to concede Land to the Jews - End Times coming to Pass?
Is this the beginning of the peace talked about in Daniel? As I understand it - but could be confused: The seven year end-times period begins with the peace treaty of prophecy (called the covenant with death). Christ said He came so we would "Have life and have it abundantly," but I always assumed that meant an abundant spiritual life, that my needs (food, shelter etc) would be met, but not that I would move into a mansion and make a six-figure salary. I believe God protects us when we walk with Him. I have experienced this on many occasions when I felt moved to pray for my safety, then experienced an accident or event that should have killed or severely harmed me. Hi, Becky - I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to get back with you! Life has gone a bit nuts; and we've had an implosion in the small group that my husband and I co-lead that we're still dealing with! Enough of that though....
You asked about the book I mention in my profile. "Battlefield of the Mind" is a book by Joyce Meyer based on 2 Corinthians 10:4-5. I guess I shouldn't have written that it has been the book that most influenced me - since I haven't finished it yet, LOL! It's the topic, though - and what I've read so far.... It's about using scripture to fight negative thoughts, basically - the power of Christ against depression, etc.
