Staying On Track vs Getting Derailed - A Confession

A Confession: One of my pastor friends always reminds intercessors not to get "derailed."  Well, yesterday I got derailed.  There was a local Tornado Warning (meaning that a tornado was either spotted or seen on radar.)  The wonderful weatherman STRONGLY warned us of the DANGEROUS situation we were in.  I started SPEAKING TO THE TORNADO that it MUST die, then I got on my knees and was PRAYING and INTERCEDING for all of us in the area.  I was staying on track, as an intercessor, until the…

The Green Bean Movement for a Better World

I just wanted to share my children's new ministry...You are invited...and encouraged...to join our family in this prayer movement!  Please agree with us "that our God may make us worthy of His calling, and that by His power He may bring to fruition our every desire for goodness and our every deed prompted by faith."  (2 Thessalonians 1:11 paraphrase from NIV)   The Green Bean Movement for a Better World   So often, many of us may "feel a frustration" that, due to circumstances beyond our…

Finding Balance as Intercessors

As an intercessor, I VERY MUCH struggle with finding balance in my life.  I made a short video discussing this dilema, and possible solution, in my life.  I pray it blesses and helps any who may be struggling as well!  GOD BLESS!   :) Finding Balance as Intercessors

  • Thank you, Mama, for friending me!  I love you!!!!

  • Anne,

Thank you for your note.  The course is probably more challenging for me than the students.  I have presented it twice in class room, but must change the lesson plan from talk points to something that can be posted and will encourage discussion.  While I do welcome that challenge, I need a lot of prayer so what God wants us to learn, will be received and others will want to share and contribute.  Can I count on you for prayer as the Lord leads?

I will make mention of it on the intercessor group, also.

I had a case where a nonverbal prayer was heard last night--my daughter-in-law has asthma, and is in her 8th month of pregnancy.  Yesterday Afternoon her doctor ordered her to the hospital due to the asthma acting up.  My wife and I went and helped my son and her with their two young girls while she was in the hospital.  She was treated, and improved enough that she was not admitted.  We are very thankful for that which was a real blessing to our unspoken prayers.

Blessings to you and your family,
