  • Thanks June, I'm grateful and appreciate your kind words. Bless you!
  • Being from Oklahoma... Could you tell me who first comes to mind regarding 1 Tim 2:1-6 praying for all those in authority. We are seeking a Volunteer State Prayer Leader for OK who is likely located near OK City for the National Governors' Prayer Team. Our website is www.NGPT.org. I would be happy to talk you or someone you know more about it. Tom Walker tomwalker@GovernorsPrayerTeam.org 317-409-6858
  • June: Please forgive us. I sent you a message Tuesday which you evidently didn't receive. I have trouble getting around this site too. Anyhow we didn't get out of Sherman until after 2:00. If you will send me your phone number I will just call next time we are coming that way.
  • June: Delores has decided that she needs to go on to Sherman to do some shopping after her dental appointment so I don’t know when we might get back to Durant. Call me at (580-565-0866) about noon Thursday or send me your phone number and I will call you to let you know how our schedule is coming.
    Blessings --------- paul
  • June: I haven't forgotten. Delores has a dental appointment in Denison next Thursday morning. Perhaps we could get together about noon or a little after at Taste Island that day.
  • Or perhaps we might meet you at Taste Islands in Durant sometime. What church so you attend?
  • In the fall of ’99 we left a pastorate north of Seminole to pioneer a church in the Colorado Springs area. NOTHING, however in the spring of 2000 we became involved with a prayer team that ministered in the World Prayer Center every Monday evening. There we met Mel – now Dr Joseph – Winger who at that time was the editor of Pray and director of the National Association of Local Church Prayer Leader – NALCPL. The week following 9-11 Mel invited me, at age 62 with no secretarial experience, to come work for him as a secretary, gofor, whatever. I stayed there until Pray was passed on to the Navigators and NALCPL was closed down. We had our own para-church ministry under the covering of New Life Church until we decided that we could no longer keep up the pace.
In the fall 2007 we moved to Kingston. I am now the Prayer Coordinator at New Beginnings Church in Madill. Looking for Pray!Network members in our area and seeing that Pray Magazine had been an influence in your life I had to contact you.

    Blessings---------------paul
  • June: Were you aquainted with Pray Magazine while it was being published by NALCPL, 2003 or eariler
