  • When out to eat take a nice tract and when you leave a tip leave it  (bless them with a generous tip)..... WARNING do not use the tracts that look like money and just leave that .. it makes all of us look bad

  • I just joined your group, and ya'll look like a lot of fun! I love fun, food, and God! I think this is going to be a good group for me. Hope ya'll don't mind that I "crashed" your group. I live in Texas, so I don't have a good hot chocolate recipe...sorry. Also, my family prays at every meal no matter where we are. At home, at restaurants, at friends and family dinners (even if they aren't Christians). My children pray before they eat lunch at school, and they go to a public school. I think the only way to go about reminding people about the importance of prayer before meals is to lead by example. You have to talk the talk and walk the walk. No one ever said it would be easy.
  • You know i love to cook but sometimes you just have to get out of the kitchen! Right? well this is one of the best times to pray for a stranger and what a witness it is when you go out to eat and when the waiter or waitress brings your plate what do they always ask? can i get you anything else? AT that time simply say to the no but we are fixing to pray over our food and would be happy to pray for You do you have any needs we may go to God for on your behalf?????? wow sat back and watch what will happen, most folks are glad someone asked them such a thing folks are hungry to jsy be loved so yes every now and then get out of the kitchen and enjoy a meal and enjoy serving a Mighty God !!!
  • Here in Norway we usually drink apple cider cold. But I will have to try your idea about drinking it warm when temprature starts to fall.
  • I've started thinking about apple cider since autumn is upon us. There is nothing better than warm apple cider to take the chill off!
  • yes we can share and indeed enjoy the good things in life that is my whole purpose of this group we can not only have fun and help one in the kitchen but in life with the lessons we have each learned along the way.
  • What a good idea to join a group called Kitchen table.! A friend of mine once noticed something startling in the bible. Do you realize how often food and gatherings around the table is mentioned in the Bible ?
So this should definitely be founded on biblical grounds. Hope we can share and enjoy the good things in life in this group.
    Blessings from T.Leigre.Norway.
