I call upon the nations.

It has been a great experience following the two networks invented by NAvPress.First I joined the Pray Network and now I am also a member of the Discipleship Network. As a norwegian it is sometimes difficult to express ones thoughts in a correct manner. English is so far from Norwegian. But I enjoy reading the blogs and find many things of value in the postings. I pray for the Discipleship Network and the Pray Network that they will go world wide and make an influencs on many beleivers.

I call upon the nations.

As a norwegian I have represented one of the nations far up in the north. It has been delightful to see the increase of new members and the expanding of the network. I have eagerly promoted Pray Network on my web site and I am longing to see more norwegians join the network. But my question is, where is the rest of Europe and Scandinavia ? This god given chance for the network to reach global is a daily prayer for me.
Now I encourage my friends in the network to pray for a global…

Reading: Hearing Ear.by Larry Lea.

In our prayer small group at church we are dwelling with the topic of hearing Gods voice. We have a desire to hear God more direct and clarely. In this proscess we are turning to the big story-tellers as Eugene Peterson would have expressed it.One of the writers with most impact on my mind is Larry Lea and his breakthrough book : Hearing Ear.I believe this book has created a longing to hear Gods voice among a worlwide public.Going through his book again I realize this is certainly not any…

Crossing ways.

It is amazing how God can cross our paths in life. For some time ago Cynthia reccomended in her prayer blog to look up Brad Jerzak and his" The God Who Speaks Newsletter". Well, obedient as I am I did. Now I have read everything he has published on these pages. Honestly, I am still a fan of Brad. I have also reccomended his newsletters in our own website. In Norway he is mostly unknown.Going to sunday service this morning the speaker told of a weekend he had attended recently here in Norway and…

  • Hi Terje, its being long hearing from you. The Lord has been faithful in meeting our needs. There is need to pray for my country Nigeria for the coming 2011 Election. The tension is high, the national security is at risk because the evil ones are raising altars to cause havoc in the country. Pray that the Lord will arrest and dismantle their plans. that there will be peaceful election. Also pray for me and my fiance Eunice. We are trusting God next year 2nd April, 2011 to get married. Pray that the Lord will direct, guide and provide all we need for the success of the wedding.
  • Hej Terje Leigre. Hilsen Lone

  • Dear Terje,
Thank you so much for joining Japan:sanbi inori and for your prayers for Japan! I haven't posted much yet because I'm only just beginning to get the group off the ground, but I will start today. Of the current four members, you're the first from outside of Japan, but I'll be moving back to America soon. The other two live in the Tokyo area.
Thanks again for your partnership in prayer! Bethanie
  • Hi Terje, Estell here from SA. We are now friends!
  • Terje, Hi. I am now your friend of prayer. My family is from Colorado. Since we have two grown daughters, one married and pregnant and the other one working, my husband and I are teaching missionary kids at Faith Academy in the Philippines. My passion for prayer comes from Moms in Touch and seeing how God uses prayer to transform people and situations and gives us trust in him. I'll write more examples later. Bev
  • God's grace to you Terje! We are on opposite sides of the world, but as you wrote we are both connected to the sun (Norway: Land of the Mid-Night Sun & Japan: Land of the Rising Sun). I didn't know people said that about Norway. We are also both connected to the Son who created the Sun!
  • I will be praying for you my friend that God will continue to open doors for you to share the Good News. There is such a hunger for truth that I am sure people will want to hear what you are sharing.
  • I look forward to reading your blogs. Have a blessed day.
