I hear you. Prayerlessness in the Body is one of the issues the contemporary church faces as we struggle to balance the demands of modern life. The key I guess is to realize that it is a "discipline", in the true sense of that word. I am glad for this website and the course just starting that helps those of us who want to grow in this area of our walk with God. Thank God that He is faithful and merciful, so He understands when we dont measure up! Looking forward to sharing in the coming weeks. Blessings
I think the challenge of praying together is not limited to developed countries, as I can speak from personal experience. Sometimes I wonder if we needlessly complicate the issue and others feel they dont measure up to some formulae. I think also the church leadership can have a big influence on a church becoming a praying church. We rejoice in God's grace that He sees our hearts desire for Him, more than anything else in prayer.
