Forgiveness is Not
Forgiveness is Not saying in any way that a wrong is right. Forgiveness does Not take away the consequences of the wrong either with the victim or the doer of the wrong. Forgiveness does Not solve all the relationship problems caused by the wrong. Forgiven does Not mean instant healing for the victim. And there are probably more things forgiveness is Not.If it is not these things what is it?

I grew up in Mali West Africa where my parents were missionaries. At age six I went about 700 miles away to boarding school in Mamou Guinea. This was a boarding school for missionary kids. About seventy five percent of the children who attended there were abused, physically, emotionally, sexually and spiritually. It has been over 50 years since I left.
