Lewis, I felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit as I listened to your Praying for Your Spouse. I do not talk to or pray for my husband, from my heart, in such a way that communicates that he is of great value. (God, forgive me.)
In addition to trying to listen to the direction of the Holy Spirit in my prayers for my husband, I also use Stormie Omartian's The Power of a Praying Wife to pray for my husband. (God, help me to pray these prayers truly from my heart!)

Anne, I found this great book called "Praying God's Will for My Husband" by Lee Roberts. It has subject sections and then has scripture to pray over your husband. At first I just chose topics I thought were appropriate then realized that God would work His will in areas that I was not aware of so now I just work through the book topic by topic. Blessings as you seek to interceed for your husband.
