  • We are new here, but I had to smile when I saw the Psalm 139 reference and of its use inside.  We counsel our members (disciples) to read that every day for a week and write us about the effect of it on their prayer life, their thinking, and their personal developing relationship with God as their Father.  Those of us who are broken and have decided we are of little use to anyone first need to know of the great value we are to Him who created us for His pleasure; for a relationship with Him.  Then, we can move forward to the next level - whatever that may be for each individual child of God.
  • Thanks for the insight.  I am always interested in effective ways to communicate to the incarcerated in our local jail.  Our team has not used Psalm 139 but it surely paints a picture of a personal God.  He has been working in our jail and it is exciting to be a part of it.
  • Welcome brother Parcell!  I was reading your comments, and one comment that stands out is, "Discerning what topics or content to use."  Our team ministered in the local jail on this past weekend, the topics that were used were taken out of Psalm 139 (God knows all aboutus); and 1 Kings 19:12 (And after the fire a still, small voice...).   The Lord really blessed, and the ladies were very attentive.
