Today's Gospel Truth ~  "Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:  I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see."  Revelation 3:17-18

The church in Laodicea was firmly warned to be careful of their attitude of bragging and complacency because they were rich, whereas the wealth they had was useless and considered pitiful in the Kingdom of God.  We too have to be mindful that we do not collect riches as Believers in Christ that will be displeasing to God. 

The Laodicean Church was further advised by Christ also known as our Mediator and the Wisdom of God to; "buy of me gold tried in the fire" ~ Produce a more glorious state of the church by expressing fervent love and strong faith.  "That thou mayest be rich" ~ Because one can not be rich in the Kingdom and not be Spiritually Faithful.  To have an interest and love for Christ and his Grace is the greatest of riches. "And white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and the shame of thy nakedness do not appear" ~ Invest in heavenly glory so that your soul will not be naked, but rather always clothed in the righteousness of Christ.  "And anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see."  Anointing the eyes is making use of your gained light and knowledge of the Word of God, as all without divine revelation are in darkness and such who reject it's authority will go astray.  Furthermore it is confirmed in vs 19 that; "The people I love, I call to account - prod and correct and guide so that they'll live at their best. As a people of God we are required to get up on our feet! Stand about face! And Run after God! AMEN

Lord, You are truly the Christ…truly the Son of the living God. This is s who I say You are in me and to me. You are love longing to be poured out. Lord, You are Hope fulfilled. You are the one and only water walker and enable me to walk on the waters of my life in the power of Your name as I set my face on You. Winds obey the sound of Your voice as You speak peace over my life. All My fountains are in You. No frigid circumstance…no fiery trial…no howling wind has power over You. When you tell me to speak peace to the upheavals of my life, I will with the expectation of seeing those upheavals respond to Your Word.

I am the vessel You have chosen to use for Your Glory. I am the love of Your life. I am Your most favorite one. You are pleased with me and I bring a smile to Your face as You set Your gaze upon me. I am Yours in the good and the bad. I receive strength as I eat from Your hand. I am fed.

I will not hide from Your Presence in fear, for Your perfect love casts out all fear within me. Help me to grow in the revelation of You as Christ in me the hope of Glory. No, I will not hide from You my Lord but, I will rest in Your strength.

Yes, I rejoice in You forever and thank You for the continual transformation of my life as I continually move from dust to Glory and become a beautiful garden in the midst of Your Presence. Amen.  Shared from ... Journals of the Heart

PRAYER:

Lord, my heart is overwhelmed by Your goodness toward me. It is astonishing to know I am engraved on the palm of Your hand. You saw every day of my life before I existed. You have restored me at great cost. Help me to realize and come to know intimately the beauty You see in me.

Let every gift in me come to fullness as I inhale Your words of love and grace. I am flawless in You. confess my sins and You cleanse me of all unrighteousness. Past failure has no power over me for each day begins with new mercies. I receive new mercy today to walk in all You say I am. I confess my unbelief and let go of any guilt or shame. I step into the rivers of forgiving grace, for I am the righteousness God in Christ Jesus. I. I Am Loved. Amen

Today's Gospel Truth ~  "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after , they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.  But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.  Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called , and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses."   1 Timothy 6:10-12   

In this passage of scripture we like our brother Timothy are encouraged to be very careful of how we handle money.  While money is a gift from God which requisite for the necessities of life, as Ministers (those sharing the Word of God) we must be especially careful not to ever give our love to the gift but always to the Giver.  As we see around our world today many Ministers get caught up in falling in love with the gift more which results in them falling out of love with the Giver.  When this happens it has a huge negative effect on the Kingdom of God.  While in many cases some are  independent financially, it pleases God more and prove to others when we show that we rely completely on God for supplying our needs rather for us to appear as self sufficient.  In the Kingdom of God we know that our truth is that God is the one who supplies all of our needs, even when we may receive a promotion, we know that it is our God who is solely behind it. 

As we remain steadfast in the faith we'll happily pursue a righteous life - a life of wonder, faith, love, steadiness, and courtesy.  Then we'll be better able to  keep the Kingdom Mindset concerning Money which is: God is the Source of all our Money.  Be obedient in giving our Money freely and liberally to God as he desires it. And be more concerned about storing up treasures in heaven than worldly riches.  Are we to live a poor lifestyle because we are Kingdom Citizens?  Not at all, but God want us as a people to be like the Good Samaritan who refused to pass a hurting stranger on the road.  It was because of his love for God he picked up the stranger, brushed him off, and took him to a hotel to be cared for.  As if that wasn't enough, the Samaritan kept his word and went back for the stranger and paid all his expenses out of his own pocket.  God is so kind to us and he loves when we have, but I'm sure it makes him smile when Give as we fight the good fight of faith.  AMEN

Today's Gospel Truth ~  "But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble."  Psalm 37:39

Holding firm to our Salvation as we live each day for God we grow in our relationship with Him.  When days of uncertainty come our way it is in our relationship with Him that we can  acquire the strength and foresight we need to intelligently manage what we face.  Growing in Christ is the greatest, well rounded investment we can ever have in life as it  gives both parties a sound, secure, loving relationship. It not only help us with life here on earth but it also secures our place with Christ in heaven. Holding firm to our Salvation also approves us to be counted as the Righteous Seed who deserves God's Delivering Grace.  Indeed God is our strength and because our life of freedom is from Him it is also protected and safe in Him.  Praise God for in Him we have Deliverance for the Righteous! AMEN

Today's Gospel Truth ~  "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:  By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God."     Romans 5:1-2   

Once you've accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior you are been given legal right to limitless Justification.  This precious gift you have received from God covers every area in your life.  Through justification we have an immeasurable peace with God within us that the enemy does not have the right to touch.  Our justification in God acquits us from having to carry the bondage of guilt that satan constantly tries to burden us with.  Through faith we can stand sure in our wonderful inheritance of grace, and delightfully rejoice in the hope of the glory from our Father, Papa God. There is incredible power in the Word of GOD to conqueror and change circumstances.  The Word of GOD is filled with promises for you to use for every situation in everyday life. Speak the promises concerning you, your family, and your atmospheres.  God wants his children to fix their Faith on that which is Infallible and Impregnable.  This is easy to accomplish when you understand that the Word of GOD is like fire going forth and like a hammer breaking up and bringing change to the situation. REALEASE THE PROMISES OF GOD OUT TODAY!!!  AMEN.

"For the word of God is quick , and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4:12

Come Out of the Stronghold

"...Do not stay in the stronghold. Go into the land of Judah ..." (1 Samuel 22:5).

David and his fighting men had been hiding in the cave of Adullam. He was fleeing Saul. Many of life's down-and-out had come and joined David's army. David was content to stay in the stronghold of safety. Then, God's prophet came to David and told him that he must leave the stronghold and go into the land of Judah. Judah means "praise."

When life beats down on us and we get to the place where we want to hide in a cave, God often places people around us who prod us into moving in the right direction. He does not want us to remain in the place of discouragement. He wants us to move into the land of praise.

I recall when I went through a very difficult time. It seemed to drag on and on with no change until finally I wanted to retreat to a cave and forget pressing on. It was a great time of discouragement. A godly man came to me and said, "You must keep moving! There are too many who are depending on you in the Kingdom."

I didn't totally understand what he meant at the time. Now I know he was saying that God is preparing each of us to be the vessel He wants to use in the life of another person, but we will never be that vessel if we give up and hide in our cave of discouragement. Not only must we keep moving, we must move into a new realm. Our attitude must move from discouragement to praise.

"He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners - to comfort all who mourn. ... a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor" (Isa 61:1-3).

It is only when we move past discouragement to praise that we begin living above our problems. Make a decision today to go into the land of Judah.

I Began the Day with Jesus

I began this day with the Master

Today he came first and everything else after

Opening up to him about all my reality

I got right into it and told him about me personally.

He tend to always know everything before I share

But I feel better when I tell him even though he was there

I often go into a tell all tale

All the little secrets I begin to unveil.

At times when I'm done I think, 'girl that's so messed up.'

He smiles and say, 'Oh I've heard so much worse.'

Then he reminds me that once forgiven he remembers no more

And on that note I can rest assure.

However, there are times when he has to assure, secure and advise,

Even tell me no but never tell me why

So to say the least, we get along very well

He is my Friend, my Brother and yes the greatest Father.

He highly recommends that I use the talents that he has given me daily

Knowledge, understanding, counsel and wisdom

And not seek my own strength or handle matters prematurely.

Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able

to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:10

Opposition comes; and it comes in many different ways. We must remember however that God is greater than any situation. He has given us our weapons of warfare. They are not your traditional weapons of war. We don't seek revenge we seek truth. We don't have to defend ourselves for we are covered in the blood of Jesus Christ and He is our righteousness, and our defense. The Holy Spirit fills us with the word of God and causes us to remember exactly what we need to do in the heat of battle. We love and strive for peace instead of hate and bitterness. Our faith protects us. Not one arrow shot in our direction is able to destroy us. The Holy Spirit comes into our battle with a flaming sword and cuts through the darkness and prevents the enemy from breaking through.

We don't need to summon great armies, ***for our prayers summon the greatest authority.***

Our salvation through Jesus Christ has placed us in an army that always wins. Not with guns, or words but with the truth of Jesus Christ dwelling within us. When our enemy comes at us with all that He has, we have no need to fear but only to run into the arms of Jesus. He exposes every scheme and tactic and renders them useless. With Jesus we will stand.

***NO weapon formed against us shall prosper.***
