Good to hear from you! Thanks for asking me for any ideas! (I know what you mean about wasting precious prayer time giving requests. I have a weekly "Prayer Group" with my children, and many times we spend more time on gathering requests than we do praying.) I think reading the Psalms is a GREAT idea! We can never go wrong getting into God's Word! As far as praying as the Spirit leads...I am ALWAYS amazed at how great of a leader the Holy Spirit is in prayer...if I give Him the opportunity! Frequently, I have my agenda in prayer (my prayer list), and I am pleasantly surprised at the direction the Holy Spirit takes me in as I listen and obey! Sounds like you already had a GREAT direction in mind...but I am glad you asked me anyway! Keep up the GREAT work...and may God BLESS you!!!!!!!!!
Love,
Anne
