  • I grew up in foster care and struggled with the damaging effects of physical and emotional abuse well into adulthood. When I was 40 years old, I came to know Jesus as my Savior and He is healing me from all my sickness and all my disease. :) I would like to join you in praying for children in foster care homes inneed of His love, His mercy, His grace and His protection.

Ten Things You Can Do to Make a Difference

1. Pray--For the children, for their biological families, for their foster parents, for Case workers, Counselors, and Judges. Pray for protection, for godly influences, for emotional, physical, & spiritual healing.  Prayer can reach into places that you may never be able to go.   2. Reach out in kindness as the Lord leads.  When I was in foster care, I made my profession of faith and an older woman in the church gave me a cross necklace and took me out for lunch.    3.
