  • Hallo Cynthia.

The list of topics you have suggested is very much the ones we use in our prayer meetings. In fact I believe we use all of them from time to time.
I will also suggest to focus on special needs concerning the situation in the nation. We also use to bring newspaper- articles to the meetings so we can pray for topics of national importance.
This might include issues as : government, politics, schooling etc.
    Blessings from T.Leigre. Norway.
  • I love this question!!! Great input, I am looking for fresh ideas in this area and am excited to check back for more.
The one topic I would add is noteworthy items everyone is aware of and talking about anyways, such as the Haiti earthquake when it happened, the Gulf oil spill, and here in Arizona where I am from, the immigration issue (although that one might also need a Holy Spirit inspired facilitator/referee, because that really IS a hot topic around here, and we would need to keep it from becoming a debate in "prayer clothing"!).
    • Great idea--so an affinity group for current events. I like it!
