In keeping with the theme of blessing, often on the internet we have opportunity to wish people a Happy Birthday or give well wishes on a Job Anniversary. Today I sent a person I know personally, a nice Birthday Message, and added a blessing to it. It was very encouraging to hear back from that individual, who recognized it as a blessing. Most of us may not really recognize a blessing when it is given. That person was a Messianic Jew. I appreciated his thanking me for the blessing.
I share this to help one realize that blessings are real and meaningful, especially when they come from our heart.
I know that I am one who is learning how to praise the Lord--it does not come naturally--and how to bless others--that did not come naturally. However--the more that I learn of God's word, the more I want to Praise Him, and Bless others too.
