Are We Listening to Others?

Are we so interested in ourselves that we fail to listen to others?

 

When a person speaks, did you know that what they say comes from their heart and may be important to them?   Matt 15 vs 18

 

Take time to listen to the attached 'Prayer Minute' and allow the Lord to help us listen to others.

 

Perhaps you might want to share what it means to you when someone listens.

    Ouch...I'm guilty of not listening well to others.  Living in a constant "brain fog" and with the difficulty of severe and chronic sleep deprivation makes it worse...but the problem truly stems from my selfish heart.  Forgive me, Lord!  Help me to REALLY listen to others!

      Ann,

       

      I find myself focused on my own interests, but with God's help I am trying to listen to others an let them know I am interested in them.  Quite a struggle--but the dividends when I allow God to help, really brings encouragement.

       

      You are not alone.
