We are meeting on zoom on Thursday night 9pm Sydney time, only for 45 min to 1 hr. Let me know if you wish to join us to email you the zoom link

Prayer focus

Taliban is only a symptom but we are going to pray over all the tribes in Afghanistan and bind the strongman in every tribe (Muslim or not) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnic_groups_in_Afghanistan

We are going to pray over the highplaces, rivers and dams to destroy all satanic alters that was built there. We are going to destroy in the spirit the Taliban Government Structure in Jesus name. Amen

The Holy Spirit will guide us on the night how to pray more and what to pray for to deliver Afghanistan from the hand of Anti-Christ.

This call is for people who understand spiritual warfare and they are called to pray.

It is the Holy Spirit who will guide us to have the strategy how to pray and what to pray for with the God’s Army.

Please read Ps 91 everyday and put on the Armor of God

    Prayer Scriptures

    Acts 4:24-31

24 When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God. “Sovereign Lord,” they said, “you made the heavens and the earth and the sea, and everything in them. 25 You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of your servant, our father David:

    “‘Why do the nations rage

and the peoples plot in vain?

26 The kings of the earth rise up

        and the rulers band together

    against the Lord

        and against his anointed one.[a]’[b]

27 Indeed Herod and Pontius Pilate met together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel in this city to conspire against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed. 28 They did what your power and will had decided beforehand should happen. 29 Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. 30 Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

    Matthew 18:17-20

17 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be[a] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[b] loosed in heaven.

19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

    Ephesians 6:10-17

    The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

    Romans 8:15

15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.[a] And by him we cry, “Abba,[b] Father.”

    1 Corinthians 14:2

2 For anyone who speaks in a tongue[a] does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.

    Acts 2:11

11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!”

    2 Thessalonians 2:8

8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.

    Isaiah 30:30-33

30 The Lord will cause people to hear his majestic voice

and will make them see his arm coming down

with raging anger and consuming fire,

        with cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail.

    31 The voice of the Lord will shatter Assyria;

with his rod he will strike them down.

32 Every stroke the Lord lays on them

        with his punishing club

will be to the music of timbrels and harps,

as he fights them in battle with the blows of his arm.

    33 Topheth has long been prepared;

it has been made ready for the king.

Its fire pit has been made deep and wide,

        with an abundance of fire and wood;

    the breath of the Lord,

like a stream of burning sulfur,

        sets it ablaze.

    Jeremiah 50:25

25 The Lord has opened his arsenal

and brought out the weapons of his wrath,

for the Sovereign Lord Almighty has work to do

in the land of the Babylonians.

    1 Samuel 7:4-10

4 So the Israelites put away their Baals and Ashtoreths, and served the Lord only.

5 Then Samuel said, “Assemble all Israel at Mizpah, and I will intercede with the Lord for you.” 6 When they had assembled at Mizpah, they drew water and poured it out before the Lord. On that day they fasted and there they confessed, “We have sinned against the Lord.” Now Samuel was serving as leader[a] of Israel at Mizpah.

7 When the Philistines heard that Israel had assembled at Mizpah, the rulers of the Philistines came up to attack them. When the Israelites heard of it, they were afraid because of the Philistines. 8 They said to Samuel, “Do not stop crying out to the Lord our God for us, that he may rescue us from the hand of the Philistines.” 9 Then Samuel took a suckling lamb and sacrificed it as a whole burnt offering to the Lord. He cried out to the Lord on Israel’s behalf, and the Lord answered him.

10 While Samuel was sacrificing the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to engage Israel in battle. But that day the Lord thundered with loud thunder against the Philistines and threw them into such a panic that they were routed before the Israelites.

    1 Samuel 7:12-13

12 Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer,[a] saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”

13 So the Philistines were subdued and they stopped invading Israel’s territory. Throughout Samuel’s lifetime, the hand of the Lord was against the Philistines.

    Joshua 10:6-9

6 The Gibeonites then sent word to Joshua in the camp at Gilgal: “Do not abandon your servants. Come up to us quickly and save us! Help us, because all the Amorite kings from the hill country have joined forces against us.”

7 So Joshua marched up from Gilgal with his entire army, including all the best fighting men. 8 The Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid of them; I have given them into your hand. Not one of them will be able to withstand you.”

9 After an all-night march from Gilgal, Joshua took them by surprise.

    2 Kings 2:19-22

    Healing of the Water

19 The people of the city said to Elisha, “Look, our lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad and the land is unproductive.”

20 “Bring me a new bowl,” he said, “and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him.

21 Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying, “This is what the Lord says: ‘I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.’” 22 And the water has remained pure to this day, according to the word Elisha had spoken.

    Nehemiah 5:1,8,11-13

1-Now the men and their wives raised a great outcry against their fellow Jews. 8- and said: “As far as possible, we have bought back our fellow Jews who were sold to the Gentiles. Now you are selling your own people, only for them to be sold back to us!” They kept quiet, because they could find nothing to say. 11 Give back to them immediately their fields, vineyards, olive groves and houses, and also the interest you are charging them—one percent of the money, grain, new wine and olive oil.”

12 “We will give it back,” they said. “And we will not demand anything more from them. We will do as you say.” Then I summoned the priests and made the nobles and officials take an oath to do what they had promised. 13 I also shook out the folds of my robe and said, “In this way may God shake out of their house and possessions anyone who does not keep this promise. So may such a person be shaken out and emptied!”

At this the whole assembly said, “Amen,” and praised the Lord. And the people did as they had promised.

    God bless

    Dear Praying Friends,

Here are some current prayer concerns shared by several brothers and sisters in Christ who are in touch with many followers of Jesus there:

    1.     Pray for the effective extraction of those whose lives are endangered and are still waiting to get out of the country. There is still great chaos and confusion at the Kabul airport that is causing major hindrances to this process. Pray for a brilliant, safe strategy and its execution for those trying to make this happen, and again for the distraction and blinding the eyes of the Taliban.

    2.     That Jesus followers who are led to do so, or who need to remain in the country, will be able to move to safer places with their families. For comfort and care for those who have lost family members as martyrs already, at least dozens of cases so far have been reported.

    3.   Children to be protected and rescued from being carried off to jihadi camps or sold as child brides. Some Taliban are going village to village to try and get the kids for these purposes, brutalizing and raping them if they can.

    4.     For bold, courageous brothers and sisters in Christ who have been openly sharing their faith in various parts of the country, going village by village to make Jesus known before the Taliban reach those areas. May they be led by the Spirit, knowing when and where to speak and when to remain silent. May their mission be accompanied by the power of God through signs and wonders.

    5.     Pray for Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, a top Taliban leader that has recently returned for talks with government officials about forming an “inclusive government acceptable to all Afghans”. He is thought to be more moderate than others. Pray that he and other Taliban leaders will follow through on this expressed intention and hold their members back from committing further atrocities against the people.

Having been in many war zones, including Afghanistan four times, and being close to possible death many times, I know that the Lord can deliver His people in marvelous ways. During our last visit to Kabul in 2014, four armed Taliban attackers attempted to take out the whole international church which would have included our team, but they were foiled from doing so and then taken out by the Afghan security forces in a raging gun battle.

This morning, my wife referred me to this passage in the Passion Translation that seems so appropriate at this time. Let’s pray it over this austere and beautiful land that has suffered the ravages of war and bloodshed for centuries. Jesus Christ is the Healer of Nations and the only hope for the peoples of Afghanistan!

Psalm 79- Prayer in a Time of National Disaster

9    Our hero, come and rescue us!
O God of the breakthrough, for the glory of your name,
        come and help us
Forgive and restore us; heal us and cover us in your love.
10 Why should all the nations sneer at us, saying,
“Where is this God of yours?”
        Now is the time, Lord.
Show your people and all the world that
you will avenge this slaughter and bloodshed once and for all!
11 Listen, Lord! Hear the sighing of all the prisoners of war,
all those doomed to die. Demonstrate your glory-power,
and come and rescue your condemned children!

    Also, Psalm 77

    11 I will remember the deeds of the Lord;
yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
12 I will consider all your works
and meditate on all your mighty deeds.”

13 Your ways, God, are holy.
What god is as great as our God?
    14 You are the God who performs miracles;
you display your power among the peoples.

This is an excellent prayer video about Kabul and the needs of the Afghan people that you can pray along with.

Thanks for continuing to cover this unfolding situation in your prayers. Let’s believe God for His wonderful works and greater purposes to be accomplished.
