  • Wonderful!
  • Winnie, welcome! God bless!

I'm not sure if this will be helpful to you, but when I don't know what to say or pray, I choose a prayer from the Bible. My favorite is the priestly blessing in Num 6:24-26 The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. NIV

Also there are many phrases in the Psalms that can be turned into a blessing/prayer, e.g. May the Lord watch over your lives and over your coming and going (Ps 121). NIV

Ps 90:17 May the Lord our God show us His approval and make our efforts successful. NLT (I pray this verse for you, in Jesus' Name, amen.)

  • Winnie, many are not comfortable praying aloud in a group.

One simple way is to pray: "Lord, we invite your Holy Spirit to guide and guard our prayers tonight ..."

Another is to simply read a scripture verse as your prayer: "Father in heave, we desire to trust you with all our hearts, not leaning on our own understanding .. and we desire to acknowledge you in all our ways to you can direct our paths ..." (Proverbs 3:5-6)
