  Praying for the hearts of Carlinville and Macoupin County this morning.  The wounds and spiritual struggles are real and evident, and on some days, overwhelming.  There is massive power and presence of prayer in the name of Jesus.

  This group is for anyone wanting to see a spiritual awakening in Macoupin County.

  Our heart is based around the story of Elijah and the Prophets of Baal in i Kings 18. Like on Mt Carmel that day, we believe there are three kinds of people living in Macoupin County. 

  • Those who already believe in God, and really it doesn't matter of God does anything or not, they will still believe. 
  • Those who do not believe in God, and likely never will, no matter what God does to demonstrate or reveal Himself to them
  • The undecided masses who are desperately looking for something real to believe.  They need to see God demonstrate and reveal Himself to them.  

  Our target group is the undecided masses. We are not asking for a spiritual awakening so the church people feel better, we are wanting to see a spiritual awakening so the most cynical person around us knows that there is a God and that He is turning there hearts back toward Him. (1 Kings 18:37-38)
