I need some extra prayers for a very dear friend. For the past 3 years she has been suffering from alcoholism. I have been praying and working with her 3 years now. At this point my prayers for her are yet to be answered, as there is not a slight change in her. Shes been in rehabs, counseling, etc... to no avail. Pray not only for her but for everyone who suffers from alcoholism and their loved ones. I know the power of prayer can overcome anything. The more prayers for alcoholics the more people that will be healed.
May you feel the love of God grow deeper in your heart every day.

I pray God will speak into your friend's life. I pray God will protect your friend with a hedge of protection and gaurd her phyically, emotionally and spiritually. I pray God will block her path from activities and relationships that would harm her. I pray God will deliver her from evil and a destructive lifestyle. may He bring her home from the land of the enemy. Mathew 6:13, Psalm 91:14, Luke 15:17 and Jeremiah 31: 16 & 17. Your friend is very blessed to have a friend like You who is faithful to praying for her and not giving up. I pray that all people who struggle with alochol will be free from the bondage of addiction. I praise God that he doesn't give up on the lost and He has His eye on your friend. I praise Jesus that he broke He is our Savior andHe freed us from the power of sin. I pray your firend will know that freedom.

i feel you,i have a brother who is an alcoholic too and he and the wife have recently seperated because of the same.he is a born again christian and started drinking in hiding,now he doesnt hide it any more.but with God,all things are possible.
Lord we pray for the dear friend and others who suffer from alcholism. Lord we pray that they be delivered from the root cause that leads them to desire alcohol. We pray that they the strongman be bound in their lives , we pray to break every generational curse or mindset that keeps them in bondage. We pray for healing of families that suffer with this illness.We pray for physical and mental and emotional healing and that you cover them in the blood of your love.

We lift up Susan’s friend for alcoholism. Loose forces of darkness that bind her. Cast down sprit of dependency & abuse. Imbue healings, repentant, & sincere heart to seek hard after you for mercy and favor. We believe in your mighty intervention sufficient to overcome any obstacle, and for freedom, Christ came to rescue sinners, and gave us His life that we may enjoy life that is truly life.
You, O Lord, are our Salvation, Fortress, High Tower of Refuge; no weapons forged against us shall prevail. Mountains be leveled, valley filled, bronze gates broken, iron bars cut through, release her from bondages & imprisonment, with thanksgiving, our Savior, Redeemer, Messiah - you alone are our Glory and Praise.
