What Does it Take to Be Still and Listen for the Lord?

PM#0514 is based on Ps 46:10, Prov 3:6.  Take a minute and listen to the attached video and then consider the following reflection questions:

How often do you have to rush from one item to the next?   That rushing includes going to work or to an appointment?

 

Have you ever wished you could slow down?

 

What does it take to actually slow down and have time to be still and listen to someone?  (Maybe we should ask our children)

 

Now, if you have tackled an answer to the third question—move on and share what does it take—to have time alone with the Lord Jesus?

 

The answers to some of these questions are often very personal.  I challenge you to consider sharing your thoughts on how to spend time with the Lord—in lightof all the challenges we face daily.
