..There is a hymn with the words: Let go and let God have his wonderful way
?How many of us are willing to let go
Take a minute and listen to the attached Prayer Minut.
?If we do let go, do we feel that things are out of control
Ask yourself—do I understand that God can really lead and control?Ask yourself—do I understand that God can really lead and control

One thing my husband and I like to practice is praying that He would open our eyes and our ears to His purposes because we do absolutely try to do it on our own and pray according to the way we see things. The ways of God are so much higher than our ways that often we just don't see it the right way.
Recently my mother in law has been in the nursing home. I was frustrated with part of the situation that was out of my control and for several weeks that was really stealing my joy and peace. I was praying prayers that were focused through the way I saw the situation. Then I began to ask God to show me His purpose for the situation and to help me to grow through it. As He changed my perspective I began to see what a blessing it was for all the nursing home residents to see my family when we came to visit. I have two small children and everyone at the home loves them. Now we go to the nursing home not just to visit my mother in law but also some other residents who need a touch of love as well.
