The 10 Commandmets Nay!s Become Yay!s

1. You shall have no other gods before Me.

   -I worship you, the eternal God who is before all, over all, for all

2. You shall not make idols.

   -I praise you, God who is spirit and invites us to worship in our Creator in spirit and truth

3. You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.

   -I take you name as my salvation, my authority, my access for prayer

4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

   -I choose to find my rest and peace in you

5. Honor your father and your mother.

   -I commit to give honor (to parents, senior family and neighbors) by expressing your love and grace to them, whether they deserve it or not.

6. You shall not murder.

   -I value all life you have created and seek to bless others, even my enemies.

7. You shall not commit adultery.

   -I will be faithful to my wife/husband, honoring them, submitting to them (Ephesians 5:21), speaking with wise truth in unconditional love.

8. You shall not steal.

   -I choose to be a generous with my resources; an extravagant giver, never a deceptive taker.

9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

   -I will speak truth, regardless of the sacrifice I might face.

10. You shall not covet.

    -I will rejoice when I see others who benefit from God’s blessings; grateful not jealous or envious.
