Why are the Western Church silent about persecution of Christians in Eastern countries?

Dear friends in Christ,

I am a volunteer for Voice of the Martyrs and a strong advocate for our persecuted brothers and sisters globally. We have to step up prayers for them, and support where needed. Visit www.persecution.com and see where you can help, volunteer, donate and most importantly pray. Thanks.

Stephanie, if you are interested, I invite you to check out a prayer blog I maintain here on Pray.Network for the persecuted church. I primarily use Open Doors World Watchlist and prayer calendars but also sometimes use resources from VoM or International Christian Concern.
