Praying Psalm 119:81-88 (Praying the Stanza)

Psalm 119:81-88

Today’s Prayer

 

Kaph

 81 I am worn out waiting for Your rescue,
      but I have put my hope in, and continue to wait on, Your word.
 82 My eyes are straining to see Your promises come true.
      When will You comfort me?
 83 I feel like I am shriveled like a wineskin in the smoke,
      but I have not forgotten to obey Your decrees.
 84 How long must I wait?
      Lord, I trust that You have already rescued me
      from the evil one’s persecution of me?
 85 He is arrogant and hates Your instructions.
      He digs deep pits to trap me.
 86 But all Your commands are trustworthy and faithful.
      I trust You to protect me from his persecution of me.
 87 He nearly drags me down to his level, but, as for me,
      I refuse to abandon Your commandments, Your precepts.
 88 In Your unfailing love, I trust You to spare my life, and revive
      me according to Your lovingkindness;
      so that I can continue to obey Your laws, the testimonies of
