40 Days+ Into the Streets Begins! September 21, 2010 We are in great anticipation of what God is about to do as we, in obedience, take prayer into the streets of America! This is it! On Wednesday, Sept 22nd we launch "40 Days+ into the Streets". We are asking you to commit and pray every day with us until we see a Great Awakening come upon our land. See "The Course of a nation is in Our Hands". We are reminded of Elijah's persistence in praying for rain in I Kings 18:41. Elijah heard the sound of an abundance of rain coming, but it had not yet manifest. He knew it was coming and refused to quit praying until he saw what God had promised him manifest. This is the kind of prayer God is asking from us! Persistent, fervent and passionate! We are asking Christians across the nation to take time out once a day to pray at a flagpole in their community. See our Top 5 Prayer Guide. Flagpoles are located at Government buildings, schools, colleges and universities. They represent key areas in America that must see true reformation. Imagine God’s response when He looks down from heaven and sees His people all across America crying out to Him from our streets for a Great Awakening, and for His Glory to be revealed!
If You live in the Dallas Metroplex we invite you to join us as we pray everyday at Courthouses and Schools in the surrounding areas. See locations here. Our plan is to pray at the City Courthouses on Mondays, then the High Schools within the particular cities on Tuesday through Friday. Prayer will begin at 12:00 noon each day at the locations – just find the flag pole.
Please Let Us Know If you plan to participate in daily prayer at the flagpoles across America by emailing us at inthestreets@pray-america-pray.org. We want to know how many of you are out there praying and believing God for a Great Awakening to sweep across our land!
May God Richly Reward you for the sacrifice you are making for Our Nation and for all the souls that will be saved as God pours out His Spirit across our land!
Together, We Can Change A Nation!
