With our complicity, our society has been manipulated into being God-less and self-centered with no accountability to our creator, resulting the Church and the Family being dominated by domains or spheres of influence in the marketplace, which are in turn controlled by the principalities and powers spoken of by St. Paul:

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”              [Ephesians 6:12]

God wishes to reconcile all things to Himself, and thus he sent His Son to provide the means by which we are reconciled to Him:

“For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. [Colossians 1:19-20]

As His ambassadors on earth, we are charged with and empowered to bring this reconciliation into the domains/spheres of influence through the witness of our everyday lives. he has overcome the world but we must live in it as the vessels of His love and light (John 16:33, 17:14-15, 8:12).

Amen.
