  • After 4-5 years of reaserch on the Names of God, I still use them in my daily time with the Lord in study of His Word.  this name Jehovah Osenu, shows the purpose of the cross--and that was to uphold life.  Life is very important to God.  My sin is what made Jesus take the cruelest death that anyone could imagine.  Yet, death could not keep Jesus in the grave.  He conquered death and rose again victorious.  I love John 3:16.  It took the great love for us--GOD's LOVE to provide us life--that means a lot to me that God did that for me.

  • Lewis, thank you for this wonderful encouraging post. Blessings!

    Dear Group Members,

I made an edit to the last section of Day 22.  Hopefully it will be a bit clearer, and with this Resurrection week-end coming up this year, it may add meaning to what Christ did at Calvary on the Cross.

    Blessings

  • Working with Hebrew takes time--and much effort.  I have done some more editing of Day 22.  There are sometime several forms of the same name in Hebrew--and it takes time involving research, re-researching, and more research to insure the name is correct.  In that research, I found that the Hebrew letter Shin is pronounce Sin, and has a different meaning--which is to 'uphold'.  That adds a a wonderful significant depth to the meaning of JEHOVAH OSENU Lord our Maker.  Take time to study it, it will encourage you.
