  • Recently, in my research--I feel like an archeologist digging deeper and deeper.  I found that the meaning of the Hebrew letter 'shin' had a meaning that relates to the function of nurturing.  This reflects the earliest documentable  meaning of 'shin' that I have found in my research. I made the change and updated the devotional/discussion of 'Sar Shalom' to reflect this change.

    My source for the revised meaning was from Dr. David Petrovich's book 'The World's Oldest Alphabet' Hebrew as the Language of the Proto-Consonantal Script published in 2016. 

    I will be reviewing the other Names of God in this study that use the letter 'shin', and updating them as appropriate.
