A few months ago, the National Day of Prayer organization organized a prayer walk through Washington, DC--just before our National Elections. Since that prayer walk, I have sensed a need of what one might call standing prayer.
Recently we have had a recent attack on the religious freedoms in our military exposed, which the Lord caused to be exposed.--People had prayed. Praise God!.
From my military training (I am a retired LTC US Army Reserves), I definitely sense more attacks may come--like the one mentioned above. The likeliness of these attacks places an urgency for intercession for our nation and government. The people who exposed the attack on religious freedoms in the military are watchmen. We should consider interceding for them that the will be alert and have the wisdom to recognize the attacks.
Prayer of this nature is very important for our country.
