How would you set up a prayer team?

I am seeking advice--

Many of us often sense a need--we pray about it and sometimes invite others to pray with us.  What I am asking here is for some suggestions in bringing a prayer team together that will focus on the development of a prayer related ministry.  Here is my situation:  the Lord has given me a vision--but it is one that cannot be moved forward on -- without others joining with me and working towards accomplishing that vision.  It is possible that I may have only a small aspect of the vision and the actual vision is much much larger.

    Further note on this discussion--It is one thing to solicit people to be praying for you--but it is another thing to develop a team of people who will pray specifically for you, your vision, and what is needed to accomplish it.

    Have any of you had experience in developing a prayer team -- and can you share what has helped pull the team together. 

    Also, if you have developed a prayer team--is it formed in a way that the team can pray together periodically-occasionally through out the year--does that prayer have a specific focus--and does the team give feed back from their individual and corporate prayer?
