Being Thankful

Intercessors,

 

Some of you are in the ‘Praying Together Course’ and saw my note on being thankful.  Many intercessors often pray alone, some have groups or prayer partners, some have the encouragement of church leadership.  Still our walk can be a lonely walk, yet we have a God who sees every tear, who knows our heart, who hears every prayer.  Having a God who cars is something to be Very Thankful for.

 

We often do not realize how effective our prayers are.  I John 5:14-15 says: “And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us; and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.”  That is quite a promise.  I share it to encourage all of you—Keep Praying!

 

I really appreciate it when I hear from all of you from time to time.  This is your group—a place where you can ask questions.  I trust it is a place where we can encourage you and others when you do ask questions.  I, myself, am still learning a lot about intercession, even though I have been and intercessor for a number of years.  I thank God for the encouragement many have given to each other, and look forward to much more encouragement being give in this group.
