Discipleship in Churches

I have issue with how to raise disciplers that will use relational method of raising other disciples. Many today sees discipleship as a class of some group of people who just come to pass through a particular teaching in a book.
I believe discipleship as demonstrated by Christ is a relational thing not class oriented issue

Thoughtful! Having been in the Church for some time now, relational discipleship is possible. The class oriented may not be discarded because of His command that we should be taught whatsoever He (Jesus Christ) commanded (especially in our generation) - in relational way. We need also to bring to mind, the disciple's entry point. Along with the issue raised, as of date the Church is yet to agree on what is discipleship. However, the basics once not in place no meaningful discipleship may take place. This I see MasterLife addressed properly - with few other insights from other groups.

As we dialogue on this issue we need to seek for His guidance for us to put in place "discipleship" for the generation coming after us (Matt 28: 18-20; Luke 2:40, 52). To be honest, we are yet to come to terms with the demand of our LORD for a life-long discipleship. Consider this also as we discuss - when the one leading a whole congregation is not discipled, the issue of discussing relational discipleship is out of it - and not to talk of holistic discipleship. What can we do? Where do we start from?  Welcome to the DISCIPLESHIP GROUP.
