8 Days Of Consecration

"8 Days of Awe": September 9/4 – 9/11/2011; Praying, Preparing, and Celebrating Sacred Assembly"

A corporate focus on prayer, personal and corporate preparation (examination), and one or more sacred assemblies in the process…

Blow the ram's horn trumpet in Zion! Declare a day of repentance, a holy fast day. Call a public meeting. Joel 2:15 (MSG)

Purpose: To guide the church through 8 days of consecration in preparation for times of sacred assembly before God… To prepare people for the “Cry Out America" sacred assemblies held at state capitols and county courthouses on September 11 coordinated by the Awakening America Alliance (plus other events scheduled that weekend).

Outline for 8 Days from the booklet, Consecrate the People:

• Day 1: The Call for Consecration (Beginning in Joel 1--2)
• Day 2: Return to Your First Love
• Day 3: Remove the Idols in Your Heart
• Day 4: Humble Yourself and Put Away Pride
• Day 5: Be Holy as God Is Holy
• Day 6: Consecrate Your Home
• Day 7: Restore Broken Relationships
• Day 8: Renew Your Covenant with God
