I am a young person from Papua New Guinea, a country north of Australia in the Pacific. I work at a Christian Radio and look after programs. Our station hosts a weekly program called 'Praying for the Nation' live for 25 minutes. In the past different churches came in and prayed from things ranging from families, issues concerning my country, the church and the government. Recently, the board of the Radio Station decided only two pastors should pray. In the past I enjoyed the prayers because different people groups came in and targeted different audiences. Today prayer is mostly done for the government and the church. I don't know much about prayer but I have being around wonderful people who have taught me about praying for others and being broken before the Lord. Someone told me we should always pray for our leaders according to 2 Timothy 2:2 and I agree but when one prays for leaders every week it get's monotonous and people switch off our radio station.  So far I am reading alot and watching prayer videos to help myself. If you have any ideas on how prayer should be led on the radio please share them. Thank you and God bless you all.

  • Here's a comprehensive prayer for Australia.  Leaders are often having to follow the rich and the voters.  Spiritually, all of them can be influenced by witchcraft and Satanist curses, hexes and spells.  If part of your prayer is for the listeners, they will gladly "amen" along with you!
