Announcing The 2016 Prayer Force One Medal of Honor Recipient
On behalf of America’s entire prayer movement and grateful Christians everywhere, Prayer Force One is pleased to announce that the recipient of the 2016 Prayer Force One Medal of Honor is Mrs. Shirley Dobson, who has tirelessly and selflessly served as Chair of the National Day of Prayer Task Force for 25 years.
The presentation was made on Tuesday night at an appreciation dinner in her honor in the Atrium of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center located at 1300 Pennsylvania Ave in Washington D C. The presentation ceremony is pictured below.

PRAYER FORCE ONE SUMMER TOUR UPDATE
This Summer’s Oklahoma Tornadoes have interrupted our communications to the friends of Prayer Force One, but not our activities in the field. As we are now getting back into our new normal, please allow us to update you with report of what Prayer Force One has been up to. An Incredible Summer
This summer has seen PF-1 at youth rallies, ladies retreats, a Bible reading marathons, an NDP Prayer Breakfast, church and school appearances, the opening of The Great Passion Play and a rendezvous with The National Day of Prayer tour bus as we honored first responders in the Oklahoma tornadoes, not to mention a summer filled with non-stop disaster relief efforts. In short it has been a crazy, whirlwind summer in more ways than one!
We Begin With Two Incredible Women
When we first began touring the nation aboard Prayer Force One, we spoke at a National Day of Prayer gathering at the foot of the famous Christ of the Ozarks statue in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. This was in 2007. Although the crowd was rather small, little did we know that within this group was a wonderful Christian lady by the name of Bonnie Rodiger. (Pictured below on the right.)
During this event, Bonnie made a commitment in her heart to do all that she could to impact her community by organizing public prayer and Bible reading events. This last spring, Bonnie and her friends stepped out by faith to invite and sponsor a Prayer Force One Tour to their area. During this tour we were honored to speak at ten events in nine days, impacting the whole northwest part of Arkansas. What a great example of what one little lady and a small group of committed Christians can do! At one event, we also met Margo Pryor. (Pictured in red in the earlier photo) For years, Margo and her friend, Charlene Phillips, have ministered prayer and faith to the ladies of Arkansas through their group called the Northwest Arkansas Ladies of Faith. What a wonderful privilege it was for Sandy to speak to this group during out Arkansas Tour. (Pictured below) These two wonderful ladies are shining examples of what one or two people can do when they realize that they serve an unlimited God.

Prayer Force One At Eureka Springs NDP Breakfast
For years now, Prayer Force One has worked in partnership with The National Day of Prayer Task Force to promote public awareness of the Congressionally approved National Day of Prayer. This last May, Prayer Force One was featured at the Eureka Springs National Day of Prayer Breakfast where I was honored to bring the keynote address. This event is organized by Pastor Phil Wilson and is one of the premiere NDP events in the nation. This event is organized right and done in a first class manner. The turn out was standing room only, and such events serve as a grand example that American communities are still hungry to honor the God of our Fathers.
PF-1 Rendezvous With NDP Bus To Honor First Responders
In another joint effort, our Prayer Force One bus made a rare joint appearance with the National Day of Prayer tour bus to honor first responders at the May 20th tornado in Moore Oklahoma. At this event, top NDP leaders spoke as a group of Moore fireman and police gathered at the rally. To view the newspaper article featured in the Moore American, just click on the photo below. We were so proud of NDP leaders, Lisa Crump, Dion Elmore and Kathy Branzell who brought praise, prayer and encouraging words to those who gallantly served in the aftermath of the devastating tornado.
Pray In The White House Right Now!
In closing, it has been a while since we have invited you to join in our daily Prayer Force One White House Prayer Meeting. As you know, each day we use the internet to meet in a different room of the White House to pray. As the camera slowly sweeps around today’s selected room, we encourage you to pray for our nation. The great English statesman, Edmond Burke, once said, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing!” In Jeremiah 12:11 the Bible actually tells us why nations fall when it says: “The whole land is made desolate BECAUSE NO MAN LAYETH IT TO HEART!!!.”
President Ronald Reagan summed it up this way in his first Inaugural Address: “I do not believe in a fate that will fall on us no matter what we do. I do believe in a fate that will fall on us if we do nothing!”
You see, it really is up to us! Will we do nothing? Or will we call our country to nation-saving prayer according to the promise of II Chronicles 7:14? The choice is ours! The choice is yours!

1. Prayer Force One Sunday seeks to fulfill II Chronicles 7:14
God promised, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Our goal is to encourage Americans to unite in prayer that we might obtain God’s healing mercy for our nation.
2. Prayer Force One Sunday is not an event but a date.
The date is November 6th, 2016. This is the Sunday before we elect our next president. Since our nation’s annual National Day of Prayer, (which we heartily support) is as far removed from our national elections as one could get, we believe that prayingon the Sunday before we go to the polls on Tuesday to vote is both needed and necessary.
3. Prayer Force One Sunday is not something you join, but something you do.
We do not ask you to “join” Prayer Force One. Instead, we have simply selected a date when American Christians should naturally be more inclined to “join in prayer” for our nation. The oneness of Prayer Force One Sunday is that Christians become one at the throne of Jesus Christ. We believe that God will mercifully respond to such unity of heart.
4. Prayer Force One Sunday is an open invitation to all patriotic, Bible-believing Christians
While we are not asking you to join Prayer Force One per se, we are asking every individual Christian, every home, and every church, ministry, and denomination to participate in their own way. It is not necessary that we all unite under one banner. It ishowever, necessary that we all unite in prayer for our nation.
5. Prayer Force One will make helpful promotional material available for those who wish to participate
For those who wish to promote Prayer Force One Sunday in their church or community, we are now developing additional printed material and other resources that will be made available to you soon. In addition, we will send out periodic e-mails that we hope participants will find helpful as well.
6. Prayer Force One will also endeavor to make you aware of other Spirit-led prayer initiatives.
As members of America’s National Prayer Committee and The U.S. National Prayer Council, Prayer Force One recognizes that God is raising up many other prayer ministries and that many worthwhile prayer initiatives will lead up to and orbit around our nation’s next election. We will seek to make others aware of as many of these as we possibly can. Two wonderful examples are listed in the two notices below and we will list many others in the days ahead.
7. The success of Prayer Force One Sunday depends upon you!
We believe that America can still be saved if we don’s mind God getting the credit! However, we must also realize that God himself has put the responsibility of praying upon His people. That is why we asking you to unite with other believers at the throne of God on Prayer Force One Sunday.
