A prayer leader would find the Ministry and Missions Encyclopedia helpful in several ways.

1.       Pray for specific Ministries by name.  If they know the people involved in the ministry they can pray for the workers.

2.       Pray for God to open new ministry opportunities by reviewing the programs listed in the book and letting God direct you to new work.

3.       Pray for the community and the people that might be impacted by the ministry in the manual. Pray for the Lost but also the Saved that need a specific need met in their life.

4.       Pray that if your church is not performing a ministry that the Holy Spirit will lay this ministry on the hearts of your church and its leadership or on the heart of another church that God will use.
