Lord, we stand before You guilty of worldliness, selfishness, materialism, pleasure-seeking, comfort-seeking ,self indulgence, seeking to please man rather than God, self-reiightousness, gossip, critical of others,hard judgemental hearts, unbelief....God have mercy on us!!! Our hearts are darker than we can imagine, but Your love for us is great! Visit Your church with a life-changing repentance...one more time, Father, have mercy on the people who are called by Your name. Open our eyes to see our backslidden condition. Have mercy - prevent us from standing as the Pharisee in Your holy presence, filled with pride rather than being filled with Your Holy Spirit. Jesus, have mercy on us...cleanse our many sins and prepare our hearts for what could be the final harvest. Lord, empower the church of Jesus Christ to live for the glory of God and the souls of men!! Father, let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven in the Church of Jesus Christ in this hour!
