These are days of turmoil and much uncertainty—days when trust and hope in our God and His purposes are being greatly challenged. But we must affirm our faith and hope in God Who is actively bringing forth His desire to bless people throughout the world. Let’s stay encouraged and united in joining God in what He is doing, and let’s call our churches to pray as never before.
Seek God for the City 2016 is a great way to pray with solid, biblical truth towards seeing God’s promises come forth in our cities and nation. We must resolve to pray in accord with God’s purposes rather than what our present circumstances seem to say. Seek God for the City is written with clear, relevant prayers that will encourage and sustain persistent, Christ-centered hope that God will bring forth His long desired blessing.
Consider inviting at least one or two other churches to pray through the Seek God for the City prayers with you. When we pray with our own congregation, we tend to pray about our own particular situation and concerns. Praying with others helps to focus our prayer outside ourselves towards the concerns and desires on God’s heart. Our faith is increased as we pray God-sized prayers together.
Seek God for the City is designed to unite and focus prayer through the 40 days leading to Palm Sunday, February 10 through March 20, 2016. Great quantity discounts are available. Check out the details at www.waymakers.org or call us at (800) 264-5214.
We are living in days of hope and expectancy that God will not fail to fulfill all that He has promised. Let us remain resolute to join with God and many others to seek His face and favor for all peoples.
For His glory,
Barb Hawthorne Stephanie Tucker

We just launched the campaign at our church (a regional campus of Willow Creek) tonight! This weekend, we're making the booklets available. Our Prayer Ministry has sponsored this campaign for 3-4 years now, but this is the first time we've had the church's senior leadership on board making it a church-wide campaign. I'm so excited!
In addition to the booklets, I will be writing devotionals every weekend for our pastor to send out to the congregation, based on the prayers for that week. Our church is in the process of purchasing a building for a permanent home that will enable new levels of ministry to our city and surrounding communities. How sweet to be building the foundation for that ministry on prayer!
I hope many others in Pray.Network will have similar experiences in their churches.
