We are encouraged to see so many Christians in these days desperate to pray and seek God. When we get desperate, we either succumb to despair or we rise to vigorous hope that God will do more than make things a little bit better. If we can chose prayer over despair, we will find ourselves asking God to do “exceeding abundantly beyond” all that we can think or imagine.   Seek God for the City 2016 is written to help ordinary people pray beyond their own concerns, learning to pray God’s truth with clarity and relevance. The prayers are freshly written with new themes and scriptures, but the Christ-centered desire for God to transform our cities and nations runs through every page.
