Pastors and Prayer Leaders:   The National Day of Prayer (NDP) is a great opportunity - and privilege for the Body of Christ to pray together for our nation and its people.  Any church, ministry, business, family, small group, individual, etc., can celebrate the National Day of Prayer. National Day of Prayer is on May 2, 2024; this is a gentle reminder to set aside time to plan an amazing National Day of Prayer celebration.   If I can serve you in any way to help plan or resource your National Day of Prayer event, please let you me know.  Blessings, Thomas Bush More Information about NDP 2024 The NDP Annual observance is held on the first Thursday of May.  NDP events invite people of all faiths to pray for the nation. The National Day of Prayer Task Force is the Judeo-Christian expression of the National Day of Prayer.  Created in 1952 by joint resolution of Congress, it was signed into law by President Harry Truman.  NDP is multicultural, multi-generational and multi-church. 2024 NDP Theme: “LIFT UP THE WORD - LIGHT UP THE WORLD"   Verse:  "For you are my lamp, O Lord, and my God lightens my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall.
