I have been sending prayers for the family from the Shiloh Ministries booklet Things Hoped For Prayers & Declarations. Here is a prayer for children—

Prayer for Children

Father God, I cover my children with the Blood of Jesus, and all the children of this generation, and I pray You do a mighty work to bring forth revival through them.

I pray they have the wisdom to recognize and obey Your call on their lives. Cause them to be disenchanted with worldly knowledge and seek the true Source of Power. 

Cause children to learn from You, recognize Your voice and discern Your will. Help them find the humility to understand the Truth. Cause their feet to walk in righteousness. 

I pray these children have unstopped ears to hear You, and they be sensitive and receptive to Holy Spirit. Give them a hunger and burning desire to fellowship more closely with You.

I pray they become the leaders and fishers of men You created them to be, and their nature be characterized by temperance, patience, integrity and peace.

I pray You surround these children with protection and convict them of any wrongdoing. I pray the attitudes of their hearts be goodness, peace and mercy. And I pray they hunger for holiness and desire to serve You, loathe evil and desire good.
