Prayer for the new year

Lord God,

You are the Beginning and the End. 

You are the Creator and Controller of all times and seasons. You see the end from the beginning. This comforts us. Thank You.

We know that You will walk every step with us through the year. Thank You.

Ex 33:14 NIV The LORD replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

There are things we look forward to, and there are things we dread. You are the God of victory.

Rom 8:37 BSB In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 

Please protect us from sin and evil. The battles are fierce. Please give us courage and strength and joy in You.

Neh 8:10 HCSB The joy of the LORD is your stronghold.

Please fulfill Your purposes for us and make our way perfect.

Ps 138:8 NLT The LORD will work out His plans for my life— for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. 

Ps 18:32 HCSB God--He clothes me with strength and makes my way perfect.

Lord, please help us to bring honor to Your Name. Let at the end of this year, it will be that You can say to us: 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful' Matt 25:21 NIV.

Please Holy Spirit, come! Please Lord Jesus, come! 

Rev 22:17 NIV The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!"
