While I have been a leader/teacher for decades in the church, and having taught on prayer many times, this week a lady [teacher] from my church asked the following:
It seems to me that men's prayers are more powerful and authoritative than women's. Great movements are started by men's prayers, revivals , ministries, great churches--the list goes on. But I have thought of what I could find in the scriptures of works that were generated by women's prayers.I can't really think of any. They are part of groups and support groups and I understand that things like Pray without ceasing is for everyone, etc. Most were thinking of the absence of men--you know--4 to 12----but it is more than that. I'd like to think I could pray knowing I would see the answer. What have you understood in your studies?
Some of those to whom I go first to pray for my needs are female, but I would like to give a response to this person that comes from the experienced pray-ers in Pray! Network.
