PRAY...In Your Closet ... Make Prayer Beautiful

 

I am a huge fan of podcasts. Many Sunday afternoons find me walking near my house, praying and listening to different podcasts, as leaders share what they’re thinking about.

 

My co-author Amy Joy Lykosh has a podcast that comes out six times a week. Short episodes, just 5-10 minutes. The first time I met her, I said, “I think your calling—and this is going to sound odd, and I’m not sure what it means—but I think your calling is to make prayer beautiful.”

 

So that’s what she named her podcast.

 

Every day, a thought about prayer. Stories, scriptures, things she and I have talked about.

 

She celebrated its one year anniversary yesterday, and in today’s episode she shares some thoughts about joining my prayer calls.

 

So until I have a podcast of my own, that’s one of the best ways to learn, at least tangentially, what I’m thinking about.
