Pray for the "Occupy" Movement

I had lunch with a participation in the Chicago Occupy movement and his dad (who happens to be a pastor). HIs father asked me to invite intercessors to pray for the Occupy movement. Regardless of your perspective, intercession will play a huge role in determining the absence or presence of Christ ~

 

Youth groups may be especially prepared to pray for:

• Fair coverage by the media
• Safety with each other and outside forces (police, intruders)
• The presence of truth and wisdom in dialog and decision-making (the movement, so far, is  shaped by grassroots opinion and is respectful of each person to share their perspective)
• Ford continued mutual respect and a love your neighbor culture among the Occupy communities
• For the presence of Christ and ears tuned into the leading of the Holy Spirit
• Ask for involved Christ-followers to live and speak the message of Christ
