  • Father, please have mercy on Joel Helms.  Thank you for watching over him and for sparing his life.  Thank you for the many ways in which he has honored and does honor you with his life.  Now open the doors for even greater fruitfulness for the kingdom through this crisis.  Take what the enemy means for evil and turn it to good in Joel's life and in the lives of his family.  Bring healing to him in a way that will challenge non-believers to acknowledge that you truly are God, just as you did with the blind man in John 9.  Give him the rest that he needs.  Let your peace and comfort reign over his family.  Raise up others to come alongside them in time of need, supporting them in prayer and in life.

    In Jesus' name. Amen.

  • Amen, Andrew.

I will share this with Joel Hr's parents,

    Phil
  • Dear Beloved Intercessors and Friends,

I cannot thank you enough for coming along side of us in prayer for our son, Joel’s recovery, and then in prayers for us in his death. God is answering your prayers by carrying us through these difficult days. He blessed us with a wonderful son for over 40 years. Joel loved to “go and make disciples” who would “go and make disciples,” too.

Kelly is now safely back at their home in Colorado Springs. Please join us in praying:

    • ·         For Joel’s second memorial service on March 19 at Village 7 Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs
    • ·         For healing for my throat before we take the trip to Colorado next Thursday.
    • ·         Continued prayers for peace and that the way we walk forward will honor God.

Thank you again for your faithful prayers,

    Elaine and Joel
