The Islamic militant group Boko Haram has killed as many as 17,000 people since 2009 and continues to hold many women, girls, and children captive. Suicide attacks and other atrocities devastate the land.
The world watches in outrage - and finally five African states are taking action. This month Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Niger, and Benin will provide 8,700 troops to begin a unified effort to defeat Boko Haram.
But we know that no military force can ultimately defeat what is a manifestation of evil. This battle is not against flesh and blood - it is a spiritual battle.
Therefore our greatest weapon is not physical but spiritual. PRAYER.
So we pray not only for the elimination of Boko Haram, but for the salvation of these militants.
God loves even them. Do you?

Well said. I also encourage prayer for the Christian community in Nigeria to accept without shame those who have been captured and repatriated
by Boko Haram. The tribal Christians often view girls taken as corrupted by any level of contact with the terrorists, even if the girls have not been sexually abused in any way.
